Mother Mildred Garrett is a woman who by God’s grace has demonstrated strength and perseverance. Her consistency and passion for the Lord and his work is reflected in her life-style. Mother Mildred Garrett is a senior mother in Zion and a servant of the Lord. Mother Garrett was saved in 1944 and later filled with the Holy Ghost under the ministry and leadership of Overseer C Range in Boston Massachusetts. Born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, she later moved to Boston Massachusetts. Relocated to Minnesota from Texas in June 1960, she has been a member of Greater St. Paul Church of God In Christ for 49 years, where her pastor is Supt. Vernell Thomas. She serves her church as the church mother. She received her missionary license in the Churches Of God In Christ, Inc. in 19-- under the Late Bishop Overton and the late Mother D. Buford. She is a Bible Teacher and Evangelist Missionary. At the age of 42 she went back to school and obtained her GED certificate.

Workers for Christ (WFC) Founder and Director - Mildred Garrett has been involved in prison ministry for over 25 years. As a result of her commitment, in 1989 her work evolved to her founding the Workers For Christ (WFC). The WFC team under Mildred’s leadership has increased to as many as forty and has provided prison ministry services for over 21 years to men and women inmates in the state of Minnesota.
