The Reverend Jerome Anderson, are a native of St. Matthews, South Carolina, is the son of Mrs. Birdie Jackman and the late Mr. John Anderson. He is married to the former Tina Sullivan, and they are parents of three children, Angel, Auston, and Alyvia. He received the Bachelor’s degree from Georgia Southern University at Statesboro, Georgia (1981), the Master of Divinity degree from Duke University at Durham, North Carolina (1988), and he has done further study at Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia (1989). The recipient of a number of awards, citations, and honors, the Reverend Anderson has been the main speaker at conventions, founders’ day, and convocation services. After twenty nine years of ministerial experience, the Reverend Anderson is now serving as Senior Pastor at the New Mount Zion Baptist Church of Orangeburg, Incorporated.
