Campaign Literacy Awareness: The Right To READ® (CLA) Event Date: October 2005 - Sunday, 10/2 Churches; Monday, 10/3 Businesses & Wednesday, 10/5 Mall of America (MOA)
Greetings Pastors & Music Industry,
It is in grace and victory that we greet you today. Thank you in advance for considering to join forces with Grace Media Network and our October 2005 Campaign Literacy Awareness: The Right To READ® (CLA) to counter-attack illiteracy in our community and across this nation. In response to Hurricane Katrina: The Aftermath, CLA will direct a major portion of books collected to Minnesota Hurricane Katrina Relief (MnHKR).
Our 2005 October CLA target: ' Dyslexia, removing the silence '
In aid to evacuees' healing, CLA & you
can do it again -- designate percentage of the new books
collected to be signed by you with the thought of goodwill & healing,
along with our prayer (Jer. 29:11) to assist them in rebuilding. "It
is my (our & your) responsibility to strengthen the
fabric of the nation one person at a time to insure fewer
casualties during the aftermath of a time of crisis.
Our children need to be touched in heart and spirit. We know that family-friendly books can help anyone recapture innocence, reclaim hope and restore trust. It seems so simple, yet books are so powerful as a healing tool for the broken-spirit. Audio books will be available for for those who can't read due to illiteracy or injury. Post September 11, CLA donated 10,000 children’s activity books/crayons to Ground Zero Kidz from Minnesota with Love!
We didn’t know then, that your CLA efforts would turn into a missions assignment. Yet it did."
