Biography

Dave Hondel is a resident of Clermont, Florida. He has been Producing and Directing films and music videos for the past ten years. His goal is to 'make Central Florida a top destination' for top musicians to come and film their music videos. "I think that with the diverse geography here, it's really an ideal place to come and complete a project." Dave, along with his brother Gary are originally from the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. "I will always love where I came from. The Twin Cities itself has produced many talented  Artists and Filmmakers and I feel lucky to have been raised in such a talent rich community. Now that I live in Central Florida, I'm learning that there are a lot of opportunities here as well with many universities and film schools offering state of the art training. I'm hoping that our services will help the new filmmaker get their project off of the ground."

Besides being seen on Comedy Central's "Let's Bowl", Dave has worked as an extra on "Joe Somebody" with Tim Allen and "Mighty Ducks 3". Dave has produced and directed three shortfilms, one of which screened at the Tacoma Film Festival. The latest film from Hondel Brothers Films, "Unspoken", recently premiered at the IFP (Independent Film Project) Cinema Lounge Showcase in front of a standing room only crowd at the Cabaret Theater at the Bryant Lake Bowl in Downtown Minneapolis. He has also directed music videos for "The Tony Burgos Orchestra" which features the horn section of Prince's former band "New Power Generation" and a video for Nebulous/Sony Artist, ATOM. Since then, he has completed four music videos for Gospel Artist, Roosevelt George of the Gospel Group, James Grear and Company; four for Billboard artist James Grear and Company; two music videos for two time Grammy winner Ann Nesby; two for Kelvin Pleasent to name a few.
