Minneapolis/St. Paul (December 15, 2005 - GMS) The
Meridan Music Group (MMG) is pleased
to announce the signing of Jack Yates. No
stranger to the "inspirational Jazz" genre, MMG
compliments their roster with this exciting new talent.
Soothing, clear and melodic are just a few of the
words to describe the style of Jack Yates. His style
of Gospel emcompasses Jazz, Neo - Soul and even a
little rock, but yet continues to stir the hearts of the
traditional Sunday morning audience. When it comes
to delivering the message in song, Jack ranks among
the best.
The 15 - year veteran is a member of the three time
Stellar nominated ensemble James Grear & Company
-- writing and producing for GearCo Productions, he's
now pursuing a solo career. Jack has performed all
over the world, with appearances in numerous
concert and stage productions. His new project is
thematic and encompasses many of the experiences
that he has had along life's journey. His debut
solo project entitled "The Journal of Jack Yates",
in collaboration with LeRae Records, is
scheduled for release June 2006 on the MMG
label. MMG is thrilled to welcome Jack Yates as
they foster a partnership to propel him to even higher
heights.
