The Minnesota Jurisdiction Church Of God In Christ Hosts its 13th Annual Leadership Conference
(Bishop Malcolm W. Coby, Ph. D., Prelate of the Oklahoma Southeast Jurisdiction of the Church Of God In Christ, convenes Friday January 20-21, 2006)
Minneapolis/St. Paul
(January 13, 2006 - GMS)
“Developing Leaders for Effective
Ministry” is the theme for the Church Of
God In Christ’s 2006 Jurisdictional Leadership
Conference. It speaks to the awesome task
ahead of us to do kingdom building, and the necessity
of spiritual, organizational, and educational
preparation to effectively serve in ministry to this
generation and the next.
It also speaks to the reality that leadership of God’s
church is not a one man assignment. The Joshuas
and Ruths must be nurtured up to share the burden
of leadership. Laity leaders will also be important in
forging effective ministry to the body of Christ.
Effective leadership at every level and area will be
the result. We must give due diligence to make our
calling and election sure.
The special guest for this years conference who will
speak at the mass worship on Friday and present two
seminars on Saturday is Bishop Malcolm W. Coby,
Ph. D. of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Dr. Coby is

of the Oklahoma Southeast Jurisdiction of the Church
Of God In Christ.
