Kingdom
Oil is pleased to be a part of a
growing collaborative of diverse ministries,
businesses, government and private agencies working
to reach children, youth and young adults with the
Gospel of Jesus Christ. Submitting to one another,
these groups will cooperate in new ways to expand
God's Kingdom in the Twin Cities through a holistic
mission.
Xross brings an authentic and
compelling component to the table: a fascinating
genre of evangelical music called "Holy Hip
Hop." God has anointed XROSS to powerfully
preach and teach the gospel through music and prose
that reaches the minds and hearts of people within
and outside the walls of the church. While
some will argue that "Hip Hop" has no place in the
church, few will deny its power to reach a great
number of people today.
Typically, those he reaches are not interested
in protestations over genre, culture, race, class and
denomination. They steer clear of such debates,
consequently they don't "go to church." But, by His
Spirit, God is birthing new reforms in the church and
she will progressively grow as one body with many,
diverse members.
Surely the Lord shall use the
language of the people to reach the people with His
redeeming message. Xross and others are riding the
wave of the Spirit and helping to call forth
transformation of individuals, congregations and
communities...." Rev. Richard H.
