Ecumenical Service For MN Hurricane Katrina/Rita Families
Special Guest Speaker Presiding Bishop Paul S. Morton, Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship Intl & Sr Pastor of Greater Sr. Stephens Baptist Church. In attendance were Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Ryback, several prominent Louisiana pastors and MN Katrina/Rita evacuees. Service was a joint effort between the recently formed MN African-American Hurricane Katrina Relief Collaborative, The Minnesota Council of Churches, The Greater Minneapolis Council of Churches and The Twin Cities Hurricane Relief Fund held at Minneapolis Convention Center.
